A.T. STUDIO
As Production Coordinator and Studio Manager, I was involved across all studio processes, acting as the central point of communication between Aitor Throup and every department - from pattern cutting and manufacturing to digital work. I maintained a productive and creative studio environment while representing the studio externally, serving as the main point of contact for collectors and press. Alongside, I focused on product development and production, creating tech packs and leading factory communications as well as overseeing material and trim sourcing, and budget management.
Through this role, I further strengthened my ability to anticipate challenges across communication, design, and production, allowing me to address issues proactively before they impacted workflow. I refined a problem-solving mindset grounded in strategic thinking and forward planning, ensuring smooth coordination between departments. The position also deepened my experience in developing detailed technical sheets for highly complex and technically advanced garments. One of my key responsibilities was planning and managing the FROM THE MOOR exhibition, which equipped me with strong large-scale project organisation skills.
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR & STUDIO MANAGER
DESIGN AND TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

Technical development of layered gloves for a collaborative project, evaluating pattern construction, openings, and layered structures.
As Production Coordinator at Aitor Throup Studio, I was involved throughout the entire product development cycle, from early concept and design discussions through technical development, prototyping, fittings, and production. Given the technical complexity of the garments, my role focused on closely aligning design intent with production requirements through the creation of highly detailed technical packs and consistent, precise communication with factories and external partners. The work shown below highlights selected aspects of my technical contribution; content is limited due to project confidentiality.

FROM THE MOOR
FROM THE MOOR, Aitor Throup’s retrospective exhibition and the finale of the British Textile Biennial 2025, took place in October in Burnley and was organised and managed by me from its earliest concept through to completion. The role encompassed every stage of development, from shaping the exhibition’s creative direction to overseeing its technical and logistical requirements. As the main point of contact for the Biennial team, I coordinated communication across all stakeholders while directing sculpture production, planning timelines, securing resources, and maintaining consistent quality control. The exhibition relied on close collaboration with private collectors, including the coordination of loans for rare garments and accessories and the organisation of their safe transport. On site, drawing on detailed knowledge of the collections, I dressed, and prepared each sculpture, and led the installation and hanging process that brought the exhibition together as a cohesive whole.

Press and communication for the exhibition were managed from early planning through to public launch. In the lead-up to FROM THE MOOR, this included overseeing multiple press releases, organising briefings and meetings, proofreading and issuing final approvals, and selecting imagery in line with the exhibition’s narrative. A strategic approach was taken to the timing of announcements, social media posts, and ticket releases to maximise visibility and engagement. I was also closely involved in organising the exhibition’s press day, coordinating outreach to a wide range of outlets, managing schedules, and ensuring clear communication. On the day itself, I oversaw press and VIP guest access, ensuring the event ran smoothly and aligned with the studio’s public-facing vision.
Beyond the exhibition, I acted as the main point of contact for all press enquiries related to the studio’s wider projects and collaborations. This included liaising with outlets such as Hypebeast, Sabukaru, Outlander, Truss Archive, and The Times. Responsibilities covered scheduling and coordinating interviews, proofreading questions and responses, preparing the studio for press visits, and managing the selection and final approval of imagery in close collaboration with Aitor Throup. I also oversaw timing and coordination for collaborative Instagram posts, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment across all communications.

STUDIO MANAGEMENT

As Studio Manager, I acted as the central connection point between all internal departments, leading communication and ensuring alignment across teams. This included managing cross-departmental schedules, maintaining the internal team calendar, leading regular team meetings, and maintaining close communication between Aitor Throup and the product team to plan and coordinate fittings. All fittings and key meetings were carefully documented to support continuity, accountability, and accurate project tracking across the studio.
Alongside this, I oversaw the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring the space was well maintained, fully resourced, and operational at all times. Responsibilities included managing studio maintenance, securing and organising materials and equipment, and overseeing important shipments and loans, ensuring all logistical and operational needs were met efficiently.
